Introduce Yourself:  My name is Justine Lustig and I am the creative mind behind Stiina. I am a rancher in central Saskatchewan and I find inspiration for my art in everything: the way a cow's tail flicks at a fly, the texture in a blade of grass, or the hard edges of a metal sprocket. 

What is the name of your shop and how long have you been open?  My shop is called Stiina. The name comes from a nickname my husband gave me and it stuck! My shop originally opened in 2012 after friends encouraged me to sell my sewing products online. It has since evolved - I don't sew as much anymore and I now sell doodle art and adult colouring pages.

How did you get started and how long have you been doing your craft?   I have always been "a doodler" but I started intentionally drawing in January 2015. I made myself a vision board for the year and included some of my doodles. From there, friends started requesting custom drawings and as I built my portfolio I decided to sell black and white doodles in my Etsy store.

What do you like about selling on Etsy?  I love selling on Etsy because it connects me to so many other wonderful customers! I think it's fantastic that my art can be sold to every corner of the world! I believe that colouring is therapeutic and calming and I love knowing that I'm helping to spread that feeling around.

What's been your best Etsy experience? My best Etsy experience has been getting noticed by a book publishing company! They saw one of my inspirational quote pages here in my Etsy Store and now I will have my very own colouring book published in May! Look for "Zen Doodle Inspirations" in bookstores and on Amazon!

Is there anything else you would like to share with us about your shop or yourself?  I'm excited for the opportunity to share my art with the world through my Etsy store. I love thinking of all the happy colourists, scratching away at their papers, filling in the shapes that I drew.
